- Pogona Minor Mitchelli / Mitchells Bearded Dragon
- Pogona Nullarbor / Nullarbor Bearded Dragon
- Pogona Vitticeps / Inland or Central Bearded Dragon
- Pogona Vittikins / Naturally occuring and captive crossbreed between P. Vitticeps and P. Henrylawsoni (aka P. Rankini)
Pogona Barbata / Coastal or Eastern Bearded Dragon

Pogona Henrylawsoni / Lawsons Bearded Dragon
Also known as | Pogona Brevis, Pogona Rankini, Pogona Vittikins (natural crossbred with Pogona Vitticeps), Rankin’s Dragon, Dumpy Dragon, Black Soil Bearded Dragon, also confused with the Dwarf Bearded Dragon |
Location | Common mostly found in central/ western Queensland, Australia |
Habitat | Hot, arid/dry rocky areas |
Appearance | Generally light in colour, Mix of beige/ khaki with a dark stripes under the chin , a light coloured stripe over the eye. Dark striping on the tail, small beard |

Location | Small coastal region (Drysdale river) in north Kimberley, in north west Australia |
Habitat | Coastal/ open woodland, bushes |
Appearance | Less noticeable scales and spikes than other Pogona |

Pogona Minor Minor / Dwarf Bearded Dragon
Also known as | Often confused with the Western Bearded Dragon and Mitchells Bearded Dragon since all three are sub species |
Location | Common mostly found around Western and central Australia |
Habitat | Scrubland, woodland, rocky areas and desert |
Appearance | Dark in colour with shorter legs and tail than the other dragons typically with a smaller head and almost unnoticeable beard |

Appearance | Various colours ranging from browns and greys to reds, oranges, whites and yellows – colours are selectively bred in captivity. |

Diet | Omnivore. Eats a range of insects (crickets, grasshoppers), worms, vegetation. Generally will eat more vegetation than insects after sexual maturity. |
